A million dollars worth of fun, laughter, music and romance are unreeled in "Pot O' Gold," the light-hearted musical comedy which is showing at the Grove Theatre beginning Sunday June 15th. Horace Heidt, the melody king of radio fame, also appears in "Pot O' Gold."

New Commission- (Continued from Page One)

"The votes I received on Tuesday places a responsibility on me that I will never forget. I am extremely grateful for the confidence shown in me and I pledge my every effort to the end that Coral Gables shall continue to progress and prosper". Andrew T. Healy told The Riviera, "Will you kindly express my gratitude to those who voted for me in Tuesday's election. I have pledged myself to work for the continuance of the ideals that have made Coral Gables the wonderful community that it is today and I consider that pledge a sacred trust. As I am a new commissioner, I will hold valuable the suggestions and advice of my fellow Gableites. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time." W. Keith Phillips, who lost to Joe Whitley in the mayoralty race, also thanked the voters for the support given him and pledged himself to work in harmony with the new mayor and commissioners of Coral Gables for the best interests of the community. Phillips, who has two more years to serve as a commissioner, stated, "The election is over and gone with it is any spirit of competition that existed. We of the commission have many important tasks to perform and I will work with Joe Whitley and the other commissioners to complete them successfully and for the betterment of the Gables. I am deeply appreciative of the support given me on Tuesday and will remember always the confidence that it indicates." Hopkins Makes Statement S. Duffield Hopkins, who was defeated in his race for both the mayor and commission, asked The Riviera to publish the following statement: "The election fight is over, and gone with the smoke of that battle, I hope, is the acrimonious feeling it engendered. I trust that never again will an occasion arise to bring forth such a despicable type of campaign as in this election. It is completely out of keeping with the spirit of Coral Gables. I am glad that my nature is such (Please Turn to Page Four)

Cheated of beauty and love, what will any woman do? Joan Crawford and Melvyn Douglas give you the answer in "A Woman's Face," described as the most dramatic X-ray of a woman's secret heart the screen has ever known. Here is an artist's conception of the principals in M-G-M's powerful new drama, directed by George Cukor of "Philadelphia Story" fame, and opening Sunday on the Gables screen.
