W. 1st Street, will trip down the aisle. Miss Falcon is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Falcon, 1869 S. W. 14th Street. Pan Am Captain George W. Snow didn't "build a wonderful home in Coral Gables" as the old song goes—no sir, he just bought it ready-made and fur-nished to boot. The Snow domi-cile is now 2522 Madrid Street.

Rexair Agent Will Live Here

After reading literature and Beach and Coral Gables' cham-booklets from Miami, Miami bers of commerce, Mrs. H. H. Haskin of Indianapolis decided Coral Gables was the "spot" where she wanted to live. Accordingly Mr. and Mrs. Has-kin and their four fine children, two of whom will attend the University of Miami and two Ponce de Leon high school have leased the residence at 209 Ave-nue Romano for their home. Mr. Haskin is the local rep-resentative of Rexair, Inc., mak-ers of cleaners and dust elimin-ators, has been with the Ind-ianapolis firm founded by Fred J. Fisher (Fisher Bodies) six years ago in Indianapolis, since its beginning.

PAN AMERICAN LEAGUE WILL MEET AT JONESES

Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Jones, 3432 Devon Road, Coconut Grove will be hosts for a meeting of the discussion group of Pan American League at 8:15 p. m. Tuesday, June 24. The Honorable Gustave Pad-res, Consul of Mexico will be the speaker. Motion pictures of Mexico will be shown.

Church School

Church school for all classes will resume promptly at 9:45 a. m. Sunday at the Methodist Church, according to the Rev. Carlock Hawk, pastor. At the 11 o'clock service, the subject for the sermon is "Do-ing the Impossible".

Boys Return Home

John Whicher, 231 Avenue Navarre and Jimmie Coker, 3241 Riviera Drive, have returned to Coral Gables from Barnesville, Ga., where they attended the Gor-don Military College.

Olin Downes, music critic of the New York Times, and Mrs. Downes, Jimmy Dorsey, Dinah Shore, Bob Crosby and Guy Lombardo were among the musi-cal celebrities visiting the Flor-ida Exhibits at Atlantic City this week.

BUSINESS WOMEN HAVE PICNIC SUPPER

Miss Ruth McMahon was hostess for the mid season pic-nic of the Coral Gables Business and Professional Women's Club, Tuesday night at her home, 1217 Granada Boulevard. Card tables were spread upon the lawn. Following a short business meeting bridge was en-joyed. There were 32 present.

LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF SPECIAL WATER REVENUE BOND ELECTION The City of Coral Gables, Florida July 15, 1941

As provided by a Resolution duly adopted by the Com-mission of The City of Coral Gables, Florida, on June 11, 1941, a special election will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 1941, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of The City of Coral Gables, Florida, who are freeholders therein, the question whether water revenue bonds of The City of Coral Gables, Florida, in the aggregate amount of $800,000 shall be issued for the purpose of financ-ing the acquisition of the water distribution sys-tem now owned and operated by the Consumers Water Company and generally supplying the City of Coral Gables and its inhabitants, and without said City, and for the further purpose of ac-quiring necessary working capital for the operation of the water distribution system which the City Commission has determined to be in the amount of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars. Said bonds shall be payable exclusively from the revenues of said system, and for the payment of which the City shall have no power to levy or pledge any form of taxation for the payment of said bonds. Said bonds shall be dated August 1, 1941, shall bear interest at a rate not to exceed 3 1/2% per annum, payable semi-annually on the first days of February and August in each year, and shall mature annually, August 1, $10,000 1942 to 1946, inclusive, $15,000 1947, $20,000 1948 to 1952, $25,000 1953 to 1958, $30,000 1959 to 1964, $35,000 1965 to 1967, $40,000 1968 to 1970, all inclusive, and $80,000 1971. Said bonds shall be issued under and se-cured by the provisions of a trust agreement to be en-tered into by and between the City and a bank or trust company organized and doing business under the laws of the State of Florida and authorized under the laws of said State to execute trust powers. For said water revenue bond election the general regis-tration books for electors in the City shall be used and such books shall be open for the registration of freeholder electors not theretofore registered in the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall of The City of Coral Gables, Flor-ida, for fifteen days, June 16, 1941, to July 8, 1941, both inclusive, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, beginning Mon-day, June 16, 1941, and ending Monday, June 30, 1941; and (b) from 9:00 A. M. until 5:00 P. M. on each day except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays beginning Tues-day, July 1, 1941 and ending Tuesday, July 8, 1941. The polls at said election will be open from 7 o'clock A. M. until sundown of the same day. Said election will be held at the usual polling place in the City Hall of The City of Coral Gables, Florida, and the following persons have been appointed as inspectors of Election and Clerk of Election for such polling place: Clerk: Lewis H.
