Mrs. Moyer Makes Business of Hobby
SERVICE GUIDE OF CAREFULLY SELECTED :: :: RELIABLE BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTIONS That a hobby may be turned into a paying business has been demonstrated by Mrs. Marguerite W. Moyer, proprietor of the Coral Gables Health Mart, who insists, incidentally, that health is man's most valuable possession, when, and if, he has it. For many years Mrs. Moyer was deeply interested in club and church work. She was at one time president of the Cumberland Valley League of Federated Clubs of Pennsylvania, and later president of the Woman's City Club of Greater Miami. She has a Master's Degree from Columbia University and her interests include educational activities of many varieties. Because of these varied interests and the zest with which they were pursued, Mrs. Moyer became ill and for a period of ten years was unable to carry on" to the normal way. She began to experiment with natural foods and vegetable juices, and regained her health, which she attributed to this cause. Having learned much about foods from her experiments, "health foods" became her hobby, and two years ago she opened the Coral Gables Health Mart at 216 Coral Way. To the few health foods she sold in the beginning, Mrs. Moyer has added such items as vitamins and minerals.
