Vows Exchanged In Military Wedding
Following a wedding trip through the Scandinavian countries, United States Army First | Lieut. James Edmund Schulte, formerly of Coral Gables, and his bride, the former Miss Pa- | tricia Jeanne Atkinson of Minneapolis, are residing in Bamberg, Germany. The couple pledged their vows in a nuptial mass Aug. 13 in the Twelfth Century Saint Michaelsberg Kirche at Bamberg. The reception followed at the Bamberg Officers Club. White Roses The bride, who wore a white satin sheath and veil of illusion, carried white roses. She was attended by Miss Diane Vallance of Gary, Ind., in pink chiffon. Catherine Clement, daughter of Capt. and Mrs. C. C. Clement and a first grade pupil of the bride, was flower girl. The groom was attended by fellow officers in dress uniform who held crossed swords in the traditional ceremony as the couple left the Kirche. The bride, the daughter of Mrs. John Robert Petrick of Minneapolis, was graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. degree in education and home economics. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Spring Hill Graduate The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund R. Schulte of 1259 Asturia Ave., was graduat- | ed from Spring Hill College, Mobile, Ala., where he was chancellor of Omicron Sigma fraternity. He was in his first year at the University of Florida and a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity when the Army called him. He holds membership in Scabbard and Blade, military honorary, and is a member of the Country Club of Coral Gables. LT. and MRS. JAMES EDMUND SHULTE
