Arthur Wards Honeymoon In Mexico, California

On a honeymoon trip to Mexico and California are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Beach Ward, following their wedding Saturday at the Coral Gables First Presbyterian Church. The bride, the former Maryanne Braidwood is the daughter of John Christopher Braidwood of 5220 SW 5th St. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a ballerina-length gown of silk organza over taffeta with lace bodice and Sabrina neck line; brief sleeves of the lace and lace garlands enhanced the skirt. Her short, French illusion veil fell from a coronet of orange blossoms. Mrs. Christopher Brown Ward, of Miami was matron of honor, and best man was Christopher Brown Ward, brother of the groom. The bride and groom were recently maid of honor and best man for the now matron of honor and best man. Ushers were John Christopher Braidwood Jr., and James Jay Kay. The matron of honor wore an aqua chiffon gown with matching headdress and carried a nosegay of flowers, to attend her new sister-in-law. The Rev. Clyde L. Myers officiated at the 2:30 p.m. single ring ceremony and the reception followed in the church patio. The bride was graduated from Coral Gables High School and Maryville College, Maryville, Tenn., where she was a member of Theta Epsilon honorary dramatic sorority and Theta Alpha Phi. The groom graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, and earned his masters at Rutgers University where he was a member of Tau Beta Pi, and Eta Kappa Nu fraternities. The couple will reside in Melbourne. Mrs. Helen Tyler of St. Petersburg, and Mrs. George Shivelhood of DeBary, both aunts of the bride, were among the out-of-town guests at the wedding.
