HAND IN HAND...

Today is a memorable milestone in the progressive history of the City of Coral Gables—for today we welcome our first and only daily newspaper—the RIVIERA-TIMES. It is appropriate that your City Government and your Chamber of Commerce pause for a moment in their daily work of serving the people to salute the Publisher, Editors and staff of the RIVIERA-TIMES on this accomplishment, as they take their place in the ever growing roster of institutions dedicated to the upbuilding of our City. Not that the RIVIERA-TIMES is a newcomer in our midst—for that is far from the case—but rather the "old faithful" has now stepped up its frequency and its sphere of influence to the benefit of the community at large.
