Orlando Pastor Will Address 1st Presbyterian Congregation
Dr. L. E. McNair, Pastor Emeritus of First Presbyterian church in Orlando, will be guest speaker this Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service of the First Presbyterian church of Coral Gables. Heralding the Advent season, Beatrice Hunt, choir director, will present the Anthem "Springs in the Desert" by Jennings. Robert Ramsey, tenor, will present the Offertory solo, "The Voice In The Wilderness" by Scott. Mr. Ramsey, first tenor in the choir, was formerly soloist at St. Bartholomew church in New York City. He also sang operatic roles for N.B.C. as well as for the San Carlos and International Opera Companies. Also contributing to the program this Sunday will be Warner Hardman, organist, who will play "Marche Triumphanti" and "In the Cathedral." Beginning at 5 p.m., the Intermediate group of the Westminster Fellowship will meet. The Christian Endeavor group of the Fellowship will meet at 7 p.m. in the Parish House. Also meeting at 7 p.m. will be Nicholson and Miss Ruth Larson will present the program, which will include a book review. Following the meeting, which will be held in the church auditorium, Miss Larson will be hostess to the group at a social to be held in her home, 124 Avenue Mendoza.

To Discuss Missions
In observance of a Foreign Missions Week of Prayer, members of the South Miami Baptist church will meet at the church Wednesday night at 7:30 for a discussion of the work being done in the field of foreign missions. Annual Communion Set at St. Philip's
Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a.m. this Sunday at St. Philip's Episcopal church. This will be the annual Corporate Communion of the men of the Parish which is also observed by the Male Communicants of the whole Episcopal church wherever the American flag flies. This Sunday is designated as Advent Sunday. At 11 a.m., there will be morning prayer with a sermon by the Rector, the Rev. Dr. C. T. Snaveley. Church school will meet at 9:30 a.m. and the adult class, taught by Dr. W. P. Dismukes, will meet at 10 a.m.
Methodists Plan Last of UN Series Sunday
"Living and Living Abundantly" is the title of the message to be delivered Sunday by Rev. J. H. Daniel at the 11 a.m. worship hour of the Coral Gables First Methodist church. The musical portion of the service will consist of an anthem, "The Omnipotence" by Schubert-Specker, and a duet, Howe's "In the Cross of Christ We Glory" sung by Ruth Higgins, soprano, and Tom Winston, baritone. Beginning at 7:45 p.m., the last in a series of five United Nations programs will be given in the church auditorium. A culmination of the other programs, this one will be in the nature of a forum meeting and will be led by Dr. H. Franklin Williams. He will discuss "What Our Foreign Policy Shall Be". Members of the forum will be: Dr. J. I. Anderson, Mrs. T. V. Moore, Dr. Adele Hampton, Mr. Leland Hyzer, and Dr. Andrew Gottschall. Under the direction of Mrs. H. H. Neill, the church choir will present Woodward's "Behold The Day's Come". Oren Coates will present the solo part of this anthem.
Lutherans Mark Advent Sunday
The beginning of the Advent Season will be observed at the St. James Evangelical Lutheran church, Phoenitia Avenue at East Ponce de Leon Blvd., Sunday morning during the 11 o'clock worship service. Rev. C. J. Sutorius, the pastor, will preach the festive sermon on the subject, "Here I Will Meet Thee and Commune With Thee." The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be administered. Beginning at 10 a.m., the Sunday School, providing classes for all age groups, will meet. The Luther League will meet Sunday evening at 7 o'clock at the church.
Life-Plus Is Topic Of Rev. Mr. Ray
The 11 a.m. worship service of the Coconut Grove Baptist church will again be broadcast over WBAY this Sunday. Rev. George M. Ray, minister, will speak on "Putting a Plus Into Life." The choir, under the direction of William Palmer, and accompanied by Mrs. F. F. Youngfelt, will render an anthem. This Sunday is to be Church Rally Day at the church and all members are expected to attend the services. Sunday school is at 9:45, the morning worship service, B.T.U., beginning at 6 p.m., and the evening worship service which begins at 7:30 p.m. During this latter service, Rev. Ray will speak to the congregation on the subject of "Believers Together." Friday night is observed at the church each Wednesday night between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Church Closes United Nations Lecture Series
The Coral Gables First Methodist Church will draw to a close its series of programs on the United Nations at 7:45 Sunday evening. The program will be in the form of a forum lead by Dr. Franklin Williams on "What Our Foreign Policy Should Be." Dr. Williams is professor of history at the University of Miami, and also serves as the dean of the College of Liberal Arts. Others to participate on the program include Mrs. T. V. Moore, Dr. Adele Hampton, Mr. Leland Hyser, Dr. Andrew Gottschall and Dr. J. L. Anderson. A special musical program has also been planned for the evening service. The choir will render the anthem "Behold the Day's Come" by Woodward, with Oren Coates as soloist. The prayer hymn, "Evening Prayer," will be sung as a solo by Mrs. Wilda Long. This series of programs has been sponsored by the local Woman's Society of Christian Service of the church and has ebeen a part of a nation-wide effort by the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the entire Methodist church to bring Methodist people and others to the realization of the importance of the United Nations. At the Sunday morning worship service Dr. J. I. Daniel, the minister, will speak on "Living and Living Abundantly." Special music for the service will include the anthem "The Omnipotence," by Schubert-Spicker, and a duet "In the Cross of Christ We Glory" sung by Mrs. Ruth Higgins and Mr. Tom Winston. On Monday night the first quarterly conference of the church will be held at the church at 7:30. Dr. H. W. Blackburn, district superintendent, will preside. The meeting of the board of stewards will immediately follow the quarterly conference.
Turk to Address B'nai B'rith Here
Harold Turk, president of the B'nai B'rith council of Greater Miami, will be guest speaker at a meeting of the Coral Gables Women's chapter of B'nai B'rith at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hillel Foundation, 3306 Ponce de Leon Blvd. Turk, who will be introduced by Mrs. Sam Schulefand, chapter president, will address the group on the subject of "104 Years of Service to Humanity." He will also explain the functions of the B'nai B'rith council which services 21 of the groups in this area.
Fellowship Meeting
Fellowship and recreation are the purposes of the monthly Church Night gathering which is to be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday night in the parish of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 3439 Main Highway, Coconut Grove. Rev. Rex. Wilkes is in charge of this affair. All organizations of the church are invited.

Larson to Discuss Role of Education In Delinquency
The Rev. Dr. B. M. Larson, pastor of the Gables Presbyterian Church, will speak next Sunday at the 11:00 a.m. service conducted in the Merrick Demonstration School, 39 Zamora Avenue, on "Education For the Present Day." The local press, educational groups and law enforcement agents have discussed the bearing that education has or might have on child delinquency. Can education be trusted to restrain or control life confronted with temptation and evil? Will sex education in our public schools solve the problem of sexual immorality? Dr. Larson states that in his message Sunday he will seek to bring the light of Christian Truth to bear on these questions. Nursery instruction is provided for children of pre-school ages, while their parents attend the morning worship service.
