Lunacy Commission Hears Knight Case

Two psychiatrists were today writing recommendations to County Judge W. Frank Blanton on a petition to have Mrs. Estelle Knight of 832 Wallace Street declared insane. The petition was submitted by W. L. Hudson, Mrs. Knight's son by a previous marriage. The two doctors, W. T. Lanier and Edward H. Williams, comprise, with Judge Blanton, a lunacy commission to rule on whether Mrs. Knight should be confined. Mrs. Knight has been a familiar figure in Coral Gables municipal Court for five years. She has paid $541.50 in fines to the city on charges of disorderly conduct and intoxication.
