U-M Quint Face Casual Gator Series
(Continued from Page Six) Tony Yoviescin and Abe Friedman. The Florida games will go a long way toward showing whether the trio will be of real help this season or whether they just happened to hit a hot streak in the first 10 minutes of the second half of the Tampa game, the only time they played as a unit. They outscored their foes 22-5 in that period and played well enough to make a worth while showing against any team they'll be called upon to face this year. Coach Morris has excellent reserve material to bolster the starters and will doubtless call upon Ralph Feiler, Jerry Weinstein, Bob Campbell, Ervin Ibach and others. The varsity games get under way at 8:30 each night. In a preliminary slated for 7 p. m. each evening, the Hurricane freshmen will tangle with the Miami Naval Air Station quintet. Tech Backs Go With Ball Halfbacks George Matthews and Bob McCoy of Georgia Tech have each averaged six yards a try this season. They are expected to do most of the carrying for the Engineers against Kansas in the Orange Bowl.
