'Put Your Best Foot Forward'
If you are a young girl or woman of any age, "Put your best foot forward," says Fran Beecher, Director of Pygmalion School of Personal Improvement and Modeling. Mrs. Beecher proves this adage every day. In her executive capacity with Pygmalion, Miami's most progressive modeling school and agency, she sees shy, awkward young girls and mature women regain their confidence and with poised assurance "put their best foot forward." This dramatic change is resolved in a matter of a few weeks with the tutelage of experienced instructors in all phases of personal improvement. Pygmalion is evolving, under her competent direction, into a woman's world. New departments are being added to provide any assistance a girl or woman may need from how to speak and walk graciously to finding the right job.

Pioneer In Night Football
UM was one of the first teams to play night football in the USA. It happened in 1930. The foe was Southern College, the field was old Moore Park Stadium, then home gridiron of the Hurricanes. Later that same year, Miami played a nocturnal indoor game in the gigantic convention hall at Atlantic City, N. J., with Temple University as the opposition.
