Students Make Dancing Farmers
By EUNICE TALL Correspondent | Hay, wagon wheels, and blue-jean clad sophomores will help provide the proper atmosphere for a sophomore class Barn Dance to be held tomorrow night (Friday) from 8 to 11 in the Palmetto "Barn," cafeteria. Chairmen are Gap Kovach, Ann Hatfield and Pat Westman. A prize will be presented to a Mr. and Miss Farmer. This title will be awarded to a couple on the basis of their outstanding costumes and dancing. A student band, The Dixons, will entertain the sophomores. Members of the band are Bob Margolin, Mike Johannsen, Stuart Colby and Don Gillet. Tickets are 75 cents per couple. Profits will be put into the sophomore class treasury to help finance a Graduation Dance for the Palmetto freshmen to be given in the spring.
