Miss Kichefski Plans A Summer Wedding
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kichefski, of 5800 SW 50th St., Miami announce the engagement of their daughter, Helene, to Charles Robert (Bob) Peeples, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Peeples, 6341 SW 25th St. A summer wedding is planned by the couple. The bride-elect, a native Miami an is a freshman student at the University of Miami, where she is a Chi Omega sorority pledge. Her fiance, a junior at the University of Miami is a member of the varsity track team. He set a school record in pole vaulting last spring. Both Helene and Bob are graduates of Southwest High School, where Helene was a member of the Latin National Honor Society, the Aquila (year book) staff, the Courtesy Corps and the Future Homemakers of America. She served as her homeroom treasurer for two years. At Southwest High, Bob was a football player and track star, and member of the Letterman's Club. He was named to the All-City track team and to the All-Southern Volleyball team during his senior year. MISS KICHEFSKI
Music Club Meets Today
The South Miami Music Club will hold its January meeting at 10:30 a.m. today, Thursday at the Coco Plum Woman's Club. Program headliners are: Dorothy Adams, pianist and Beatrice Hauer O'Barr, lyric soprano. Mrs. Robert M. Thomson is chairman.
St. James Lutheran Elects Officers For Brotherhood, Sr Luther Leagues
The Brotherhood and Senior Luther Leagues of the St. James Lutheran Church of Coral Gables have recently elected 1962 officers.
