Friendship Club Protests Fee
All States Friendship Club is protesting a $15 annual fee required of non-residents for use of facilities at Salvadore Park. Club representatives and the Coral Gables City Commission are to meet later at an unspecified date to discuss the protest. The City Commission recently cut off a fee for resident members after imposing it shortly before, but retained the fee for non-resident members. Club members feel that they should not be made to pay any fees at all. Many of its members live outside the Gables.
