Woman's Club, Legion Post Donate Trees

At a general meeting last week the Cutler Ridge Woman's Club voted to erect a Christmas tree in the Community Center Building at the Cutler Ridge Shopping Center. Mrs. John Mobley made the anouncement, adding that her group is looking forward to a tree decorating party. The tree will be up and lighted within a week. Another and larger tree will rise at the head of the mall area. This will be a gift to the community from Cutler Ridge American Legion Post 315. Plans were made at the last meeting of the organization and were anounced by Patrick Hughes, commander. Detreese Latham, post member, was placed in charge of the Christmas tree decorating and is planning an event for members of the Post when the tree is decorated. The large tree will rise 20 to 25 feet and will be lighted with hundreds of bulbs.
