FIRST FEDERAL'S new dividend rate on savings is 4 1/4% per annum, paid quarterly | First Federal Savings

New Dividend Rate 4 1/4 % PER ANNUM PAID QUARTERLY FIRST FEDERAL'S new dividend rate on savings is 4 1/4% per annum, paid quarterly Your savings will now earn more at FIRST FEDERAL OF MIAMI, for America's Oldest Federal has increased its dividend rate to 4 1/4% per annum, paid quarterly ... that is, four times a year. This dividend increase is made possible by FIRST FEDERAL'S achievement of an operating expense ratio substantially lower and more efficient than for savings and loan associations in general. The dollars thus conserved through economical management are available for dividends on savings without any increase in FIRST FEDERAL'S mortgage interest rates and without reduction in reserve strength. Because this dividend rate increase is based upon economy of operation rather than anticipated increase of income, FIRST FEDERAL pledges that it will continue making home mortgages during the first half of 1962 without any change in its present mortgage interest rates of 5 1/2%-5 3/4% and 6% per annum, nor will there be any increase in residential loan expenses. First Federal is also proud to have been the leader in a new policy of paying dividends on a quarterly basis. This means that every three months your savings will earn dividends at the new rate of 4 1/4% per annum ... and you can use this extra money for immediate needs, or you can leave it to be compounded and further increase your future earnings. So open your account now at one of FIRST FEDERAL'S five convenient offices. You'll always find a warm, friendly welcome where people come first. Savings received up to the 20th of the month, will earn dividends as of the 1st. Where People Come First First Federal Savings AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OF MIAMI W. H.
