Orchids Grown by Mother Used in Their Wedding
Since growing orchids is her hobby, Mrs. M. B. Park grew and carried to New York white orchids for her son's June wedding. The bride, the former Miss Priscilla Forrest, is the daughter of Mrs. Shirley Stanton Forrest of Jan Juan, Puerto Rico, and Robert B. Forrest of New York. The groom, Larry Park is the son of Dr. and Mrs. M. B. Park of 9120 SW 100th St. The noon ceremony was held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Ithaca, N.Y. and was followed by a luncheon at the Statler Hotel, Ithaca. Mrs. Park's orchids decorated the table at the luncheon, as well as bouquets for both bride and her attendants. The bride was a stewardess for Caribbean Airways. The groom was pilot for "Caribbean." Larry graduated class of 1951 at Coral Gables High School and was a sergeant for three years in the military police in the Marines. He also attended the University of Florida. He is a pilot for Mohawk Airlines in Ithaca. MRS. LARRY PARK
