Zuricks Tour State After Vows

On a wedding trip through Florida are Mr. and Mrs. Stephen J. Zurick whose wedding took place Saturday at 4 p.m., at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Fernando Ibarra officiating. The bride, the former Mrs. Carita may Crofton, chose an afternoon dress of aqua blue nylon with matching hat and shoes for her wedding and carried a bouquet of pink roses. She was attended by Miss Catherine Beaman as maid of honor. George Saffy was best man. A dinner at the Candlelight Inn followed the ceremony, and later a reception was given at the new home of the couple at 895 SW 75th Ave., South Miami, where the wedding cake and coffee were served. The bride is a former Bostonian, and the groom is from New York and Miami.

Sorority's Rush Tea Is Sunday

Mrs. Edmund Hicks, 11450 SW 92nd Ave. will be hostess to a preferential "rush" tea Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. for Alpha Mu chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha. Florida state representatives are Miss Salome McNab, parliamentarian, and chapter president, Miss Valerie Brennan, state editor. Other honor guests are Miss Laura K. Ir-[?] American Childrens Home, our. local project. Mrs. Douglas Crawford, vine, superintendent of the 12555 South Dixie Highway, vice president and rush chairman is in charge of arrangements, and will use the sororities colors of gold and blue in her decorations.

6 Scholarship Ballet Winners

Six ballet scholarships have been awarded by the Milenoff Ballet Foundation Inc. of Coral Gables. Winners of the one-year grants are Suzanne Cameron, 11, 7395 SW 148th St.; Judy Jackson, 14, 3911 SW 2nd Ter.; Nanette Lowry, 16, 1001 Swan Ave., Miami Springs. Rose Marie Menes, 16, 25 W. 10th St., Hialeah; Carol Wolf, 14, 6271 SW 62nd Pl.; and Bojan Spassoff, 15, 3920 Durango St.

Violet Club To Hear Siegle

The South Florida African Violet Club will have Harry Siegele of Pompano Beach as guest speaker at the club's opening meeting to be held at 8 p.m., Sept. 28. at Suniland Shopping Center. Siegele studied botany at Yale University. He will tell how plastic pots are made and discuss potting mediums and the purpose and use of fertilizers.
