Maria Aceves, 74, of 5430 SW 76th Terr., died July 18. She is survived by her son, Ruben; sisters, Mrs. Florence Vellake and Laura Briggs; and one grandson. Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday under the direction of Van Orsdel Bird Road Chapel. ALFORD Oliver Perry Alford, 75, of 1248 Mariola Ct., in Coral Gables died July 11. A salesmanager at George Pacific, he is survived by his wife, Mary and daughter Elizabeth Watson. ALLAN William D. Allan, 75, of 20011 SW 24th St., died July 12. A retired machinist, he is survived by his wife, Beatrice; two sisters, Mildred B. Allan and Margaret Macleod of Illinois. Services were held July 14, 3:30 p.m. at Van Orsdel Coral Gables Chapel. ANDERSON L. Gordon Anderson, 72, of South Miami, died July 15. He is survived by his wife, Nina; sons Dale G. and Richard of Pittsburgh, Pa., five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services and burial to take place in Kenosha, Wis. Local arrangements by Van Orsdel Coral Gables Chapel. BARTAVIS Anna Bartavis, 79, of South Miami, died July 15. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Bernice Knighton. Services were held 1 p.m. Saturday at Van Orsdel Coral Gables Chapel. Burial took place at Woodlawn Memorial Park. BLUE Luther Grant Blue, 84, of 1236 Milan St. in Coral Gables, died July 18. Owner of a bookkeeping service, he is survived by his wife, Florence Lurene, daughter, Mrs. David Howell of Coral Gables and Mrs. Robert Hurt of Miami Springs; a stepdaughter, Mrs. William Baughan of Miami and four grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at Van Orsdel Coral Gables Chapel.
