Park, Jack Cook, is showing one of the students in his tennis clinic, 13-year-old Phil Jesmer, how to make a back hand shot. The clinic, held on Saturdays, is open to all youngsters. Phil lives at 2900 Columbus Blvd.
Rabbi Skop Leaves Post June 30
Rabbi Morris Skop of Temple Judea has resigned effective June 30. A detailed announcement will be made later, Temple officials said this week. Rabbi Skop came to Temple Judea eight years ago and has led the Jewish congregation since. The temple has 325 workers. No replacement has been named and other changes, if any, will be detailed subsequently, officials said.

Delinquency PTA Topic
Juvenile Delinquency will be the subject Tuesday, when Rockway Junior High School Parent Teacher Association meets at the school. The program at 8 p.m. will take place in the cafetorium. Detective John Truitt will be the speaker and answer questions from the floor. Music by the Eighth Grade Coral Group will be given and a social hour will follow the meeting.

PTA Workshop Here Will Prep New Officers
All the newly elected PTA officers will learn the do's and don'ts of their new jobs at a workshop Wednesday, May 17, sponsored by the Dade County Council of Parent-Teacher Association. Registration for the workshop will start at 9:30 a.m. in the First Methodist Church of Coral Gables, 536 Coral Way, and will close at 11:45 a.m. on the 17th. Mrs. Robert Tauber, past council president and now vice-president in charge of Committees on Organization of the Florida Congress of Parents and Teachers, will keynote the morning's program. Her topic will be "P.T.A. Unlimited." After the address by Mrs. Tauber, the newly elected officers of each local PTA will break up into individual group conferences for their respective offices' duties.

The Nan Sue Porter American Legion Post, No. 156, will sponsor a Jewish service at the auditorium of the Veterans Hospital Sunday at 5 p.m. The public is invited.
