Bride's Friends Help In Seese Wedding
Friends of the bride, Wilma Spratlin, organist, and Alice Wheeler, soprano, played and sang at her wedding Saturday at the Coral Gables Congregational Church. The bride, the former Miss Janice Elizabeth Hanvey, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Hanvey, of 1375 Cortez St., Coral Gables. The groom, Warren Eugene Seese, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Seese, of 5961 SW 41st St, Miami. The bride's floor-length white silk organza shirtwaist dress, with chapel train and Peter Pan collar, had a bow as back interest at the waist line. Given in marriage by her father, she wore a butterfly silk illusion veil, with French flat bow and carried a small bouquet of yellow roses and stephanotis. Miss Barbara Paige was maid of honor. Bridesmaids' roles were taken by Dorothy Ballard, Coral Gables; Georgeann David, Dallas, Texas; Clair Petersen, Charlotte, N.C.; and Beverly Lindauer, of Portsmouth, Va. They wore gowns of silk organza made with full skirts — the honor maid in Nile green and the maids in maize yellow. All carried shasta daisies. Ira Council Kelley of Coral Gables was best man. Ushers were Micahel Brownzine, Edward James, Cary Findlay, all of Miami and Dick Purnell of Ocean City, Md. Dr. Fred Cole officiated at the 4 p.m., single-ring wedding, and the reception followed at the Coral Gables Country Club. The bride's mother greeted guests wearing a light blue, all tiered lace sheath dress. Mrs. Seese, mother of the groom wore a rose beige silk organza dress and both matrons chose small white baby orchid corsages. Among the out-of-town guests attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Lindauer of Portsmouth, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kemererr, of St. Petersburg and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Roebuck, of St. Clairesville, Ohio. The bride is a graduate of Coral Gables High School. She attended the University of Flor- ida, and earned her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Miami. The groom is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and the University of Miami with a bachelor in business administration degree. Following a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Kingston, the couple will reside in Hialeah. MRS. WARREN SEESE
