Deaths in the Gables

Michael Epstein Heart Victim at 5

Michael Howard Epstein, five-year-old son of Dr. and Mrs. Edward Epstein, 1101 Country Club Prado, died Wednesday of last week following heart surgery in Baltimore. Michael attended nursery school and kindergarten at the Jewish Youth Center of Coral Gables. His sister, Susan, eight, attends Coral Gables Elementary. He was buried Sunday at Mount Nebo Cemetery.

Wesley T. Gary Buried In Va.

Wesley Thomas Gary, 81, of 6900 Camparin St., died Wednesday. He is survived by his son, Edward T. Bary, a daughter, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He came here 12 years ago from Philadelphia, Pa. Services were held in Alexandria, Va.

Mass Held for Peter Gerlach

A mass for Peter A. Gerlach, 76, 708 Villa Bella Ave., who died June 12, was held last Thursday. He was a retired vice president of the National Credit Office and came here five years ago from Scarsdale, N.Y. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Gerlach; his son, Harold P. Gerlach; two grandchildren and a sister.

Bonnie Busch, Author, Dies

Mrs. Bonnie Busch, author, civic worker, and a 51-year-resident of Coral Gables, died Friday at her home at 384 Minorca Ave. She was the author of 12 books, including "The Red Fog," an expose of the Bolsheviks published in the 1920's. She wrote numerous short stories for national magazines. Her husband was the late Clarence M. Busch, real estate developer. Among the survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Clarice Busch, Coral Gables, and Mrs. Violet Martin, Glen Ellen, Ill., nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Roy Hoerner, 68, Buried in Ohio

Roy C. Hoerner, 63, 527 University Dr., died June 14. Services were held in Hamilton, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Hoerner.
