Miss Greene Wed to John Cole

MRS. JOHN PAUL COLE On a honeymoon trip up-state with destination Gainesville, where they will reside, are Mr. and Mrs. John Paul Cole whose wedding took place Saturday, at the Church of the Little Flower. The bride, the former Miss Catherine Joyce Green is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney F. Green, 6078 S.W. 33rd St., formerly of Coral Gables. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gardner C. Cole, of St. Petersburg. The couple pledged their vows in a nuptial mass at 10 a.m. and the reception followed at the Coral Gables Woman's Club. The bride wore a floor length gown of Chantilly lace and satin over net and taffeta, fashioned on princess lines with the voluminous skirt ending in a chapel train. Her finger-tip veil fell from a crown of lace and seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and white carnations. Miss Romayne Dupras was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Joni Heydegger, of Winter Haven and Miss Kay Green, sister of the bride. They wore identical gowns of sapphire blue silk satin and carried bouquets of Fuji mums. Gary Coleman of Jacksonville was best man. Ushers were Walter Walquist, and Harold Walquist of St. Petersburg, and Jack Snyder of Miami. The bride is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and attends the University of Florida, where she is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. The groom graduated from Gould Academy, Bethel, Maine and attends the University of Florida where he joined Kappa Sigma social fraternity.

Hospital Group To Hold Coffee

Mrs. Norman Gladsden, 3200 Calusa St., Coral Gables will entertain members of the Cears of Lebanon Hospital Auxiliary at a coffee, Tuesday, Sept. 19. Mrs. Gladsden is a Life Guardian of the Hospital.

Crittenton Home Not Being Built

The Florence Crittenton Home is not now under construction, as reported in last week's Times. Backers of the home for unwed mothers have not yet purchased. A series of benefits is being staged in the home's behalf, including a tea today (Thursday) at the home of Mrs. James Bell, 6601 SW 128th St.
