RELAXING BEFORE the Women's Executive Board luncheon

held last Saturday at the Country Club of Coral Gables are from the left vice president, Mrs. Edison Archer and president, Mrs. Elmer Pollak. Three hundred and forty-three women attended the free luncheon.

PEOPLE

Miss Agnes Crabtree, 514 Villabella, a social science teacher at Southwest Miami High School, was an official delegate to the third biennial convention of the American Association for the United Nations, held last week in New York. She is a member of the national committee on education and participated in their workshop program during the convention. She is also the director of the pilot center of Dade County for the UN test which is sponsored each year by the national association.

Biltmore Golf

Mrs. Mary McCrackin placed in Class A with 73 in Biltmore Women's Golf annual turkey shoot Thursday of last week. Mrs. Eleanor Jarvis and Mrs. Rose Berman tied for second with 75. In Class B, Mrs. Madeline Richer was first with 77. A second place tie with 78 resulted between Mrs. Ann Funderberg and Mrs. Dorothy Wynhoff. In Class C, Mrs. Helen Hirsch tied with Miss Louise Husband with 77.

Riviera Golf

Mrs. Albert Anderson defeated Mrs. Joseph Fitzpatrick 3-1 to win the Class A division of the Riviera Women's Golf Triple Trophy finals played Thursday of last week. In class B, Mrs. Ernie Sabayrac defeated Mrs. Harry Kerr, 2-1; and in Class C, Mrs. William Linkroum over Mrs. John Lewis, 4-3. In last Friday's Handicap Championship Tournament sponsored by Mrs. Stephen B. Gibbs, the class winners of the Triple Trophy Play competed for top honors. Mrs. Sabyrac, Class B, defeated Mrs. Anderson, Class A, one up, and Mrs. Lindroum, Class C, 4-3.

CGCC Golf

In Coral Gables Country Club Women's Golf play last Friday, it was match play versus par. Tied for first place with two up are Mrs. J. B. MacMurray and Mrs. Arthur Eschelman. A six-way tie for second place with one up resulted among Mrs. Richard Schmid, Mrs. Fred Young, Mrs. Rollo Budde, Mrs. Glenn Wood, Mrs. Tony McCrackin and Mrs. Estelle VanArmin.
