2 Robberies Reported In Gables
Two robberies have been reported by Gables police since Friday. Flagler Finance Co., 3634 West Flagler St., reported be- ing robbed of $200 Friday aft- ernoon by a white youth who used a snub-nosed .32 caliber revolver. Monday morning at 2 a.m., two Negroes walked into the Union gas station at 199 South Dixie Hwy., and said they wanted a fan belt, but what they really wanted was $30 in bills and change from the at- tendant, Joseph Gay, of 5790 S. Fifth St. They knocked Gay's glasses off and held him down while they took the money. Then they ran off.
