Massey Brown of 6091 SW 29th St., are on the committee for the annual Christmas coffee, members of Alpha Gamma Delta Alumnae club will hold from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today (Thursday) at the home of Mrs. Robert Hoose, 430 Barbarossa Ave. Invitations were sent to all women members of A.G.D. and all women members of their family to attend. The party will honor the Alpha Gam undergraduates now spending the Christmas holidays from their various colleges and universities at home. * * * Mrs. Ina (Harris) Gilbert, former secretary to Coral Gables City Manager L. W. Robinson Jr., is the mother of a baby girl and the Gilberts' first child. It was born Dec. 17. The Gilberts have named the baby Lori Gay. They live at 9325 SW 48th St. * * * Mrs. Alvin H. Levenson of 8610 SW 20th St., West Miami is the president of the new Kinnert Chapter, of the Mizrachie Chapter, Women of America recently formed with a membership of 40. * * * The Royal Palm Tennis Club scheduled 11 events for December including the Ladies Tennis Clinic from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today (Thursday) at the club. Saturday the teens clinic will take place at the same hours. Sunday, the 31st, the club members will celebrate the New Year with a dancing party to be held on the new dance patio where they'll try out the "twist" and "twirl." The new dance patio is a gift from Santa Claus, it says here. * * * Mr. and Mrs. Burton Foster, 6840 SW 65th Ave., want snow for Christmas, so they are spending the holidays in North Carolina.

Jon Gable Will Marry Conn. Girl

Mr. and Mrs. J. Stewart Beck of Greenwich, Conn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lynne, to Jon V. Gable, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon L. Gable, 8340 SW 94th St. No date has been set for the wedding. Both Lynne and her fiance, Jon were graduated from Coral Gables High School. The bride-elect is attending Dade County Junior College and is a member of Kappa Omega social sorority. Her fiance attends the University of Miami where he is a member of the junior class.
