Complaints Continue To Pile Up
(Continued from Page 1) stances, Stutz said. One suggestion made by one caller is already in force by the County. Grass clippings and small cuttings and other small trash will be picked up by the garbage men on their weekly rounds, Stutz said. Although the number of garbage cans to be serviced for $28 a year are limited to two, Stutz said, his men have been instructed to look the other way and be generous in picking up garbage and additional small stuff. But the large items of trash should be placed out by the side of the road a few days before the week of scheduled pickup, he said. His main problem said Stutz is non-payment of the $28 fee. Both are cut off from collections and the Waste Division supervisor is about to make his case in court.

(Continued from Page 1) did not provide enough land for an adequate 18-hole golf course. "It would have been too cramped," he said. The lease will be a 20-year agreement with a 20-year renewal option, Nadeau said. Originally for six acres, the area was extended at the county's suggestion to eliminate irregularities. The original consideration — 500,000 cubic yards of fill materials which Cooper fulfilled only in small part, is still in the agreement, Nadeau said. In addition, Ring has agreed to relocate a canal running through the new tract, he said. William Gibbs, assistant county attorney, handling the transaction for the county, called the lease a 40-year lease with a 20-year option. This time, he said, a performance bond will be required of Ring, a sum which will be equal to the value of the fill materials and to be determined by the Public Works Department. Cooper, who could not perform the work even after he had been granted an extension by the County, was in default on the lease agreement, Gibbs said.
