It was from Olga Santorini Berger and her husband Isadore Berger of Coral Gables. The Bergers left in June for Europe and have been in London since August where they enjoyed visiting old haunts and reliving memories for Isadore who played with the Queens Hall Orchestra in 1907. However, England lives up to its name of being a bit damp and foggy and they will be welcoming Coral Gables sunshine when they return this week to their home. New members for the Opera Guild of Greater Miami is the latest "wrinkle" for the unwrinkled brows of the Young Patronesses of the Opera. To that end they will have a brunch Friday, Dec. 9 at the home of Mrs. Anthony Abraham on South Alhambra Cir. All members of the YPO are invited to the 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. affair The catch? Each member is to bring a prospective member for the Opera Guild. The Young Patroness securing the most memberships will be presented a 14 karat gold charm by Mrs. Walter M. Pierce, chairman of the reception committee, brunch chairman and donor of the charm. Mrs. Frank (Marilyn) Pearce, local vocalist and a member of the committee, will sing. Mrs. Tom Raffington will register the guests and Mrs. H. H. Groskloss is in charge of invitations.
