South Dade Steve Gothelf, 16, was riding his bike at Caribbean Boulevard and SW 110th Court when he was pushed off his cycle and robbed Monday, Sept. 13, at 2:30 p.m., by three men. Ramon Quinones, 25, was walking in the Richmond Heights area of Lincoln Boulevard and Jefferson Street Monday, Sept. 13, at 1:30 p.m., when a man riding a bike stopped and robbed him at gunpoint. Jean Roberts, 42, who lives at 9520 Holiday Rd., Cutler Ridge, reported to police that someone broke into her home Monday morning, Sept. 13, and took several pieces of jewelry and a calculator. Ray Koth, 28, complained that someone broke into his home at 8854 SW 197th Terr., and stole jewelry and cash, Sunday, Sept. 12, between 4:40 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Jose Lopez, 24, who lived at 3121 SW 85th Ave., was electrocuted when he accidentally picked up a live wire as he was digging for telephone cables in the Cocoplum area Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 4:45 p.m. Police said that Lopez, an employe of Church and Tower Inc., a subcontractor of Bell Telephone Company, was digging with his hands in a trench when he picked up the hot wire. Edward Allen, Jr., 44, was robbed as he was making a night deposit at the Commercial Bank of Kendall, 8603 S. Dixie Hwy., Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 9:45 p.m. According to police, Allen was struck to the ground from the rear by a person he never saw. He was treated for head injuries at a local hospital. Ronnie Wells, 21, was sleeping in the area of SW 186th Street and 122nd Avenue Thursday, Sept. 16, at 3 a.m., when he was robbed by two men. Police said two men, one of them armed with a knife, woke him up, demanded his money, then ran off. Sidney Oliver, 61, who lives at 6601 SW 11th St., reported that someone broke into his car Friday, Sept. 10, at 9 p.m. and stole a camera and some cash. Sutton Amoco Service Station, 9495 SW 160th St., was robbed Wednesday night, Sept. 15. Police said that owner William Sutton, 26, reported that he discovered five tires missing from the garage. Mitchell Cohen, 33, who lives at 13303 SW 103rd Pl., reported that someone broke into his home Wednesday, Sept. 15, between 2:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. and stole several pieces of jewelry. Lenora Hayes, 48, who lives at 9901 SW 60th Ave., reported that someone broke into her home Wednesday, Sept. 15, between 2:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. and stole a Sony color TV. Gerald Millholen, 29, of Ft. Lauderdale, reported to police that someone broke into his car which was parked at the Crooked Creek Golf and Country Club, 9950 SW 104th St., Wednesday, Sept. 14, and took an ice cooler, a 35mm camera, a 50mm lens, a black briefcase and a calculator. West Dade Two West Dade women had Elkhorn ferns stolen from their front porches Monday, Sept. 13. According to police, Constance Hardin, 67, who lives at 5960 SW 60th Terr., complained that someone swiped two Elkhorn ferns, worth a total of $100, from her front porch sometime between 12:10 a.m. and 11 p.m. The same day, Susan Peliksi, 31, reported that someone took an Elkhorn fern from her front porch, at 5976 SW 50th Terr., during the same period. Her fern is valued at $50. George Spitzer, 45, 15434 SW 80th St., reported to police that someone crept into his yard between 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, and 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, and stole two plastic green garbage cans and a metal garbage can. Police said the thief apparently took the cans with the garbage still in them. Andrew Moscrit, 26, 7211 SW 82nd St., complained that someone broke into his apartment Wednesday, Sept. 15, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., ransacked his bedrooms and stole a TV, miscellaneous jewelry, a bottle of wine, a Yamaha guitar, a revolver and a police equipment belt complete with handcuffs and ammunition. Police said total value of the theft is $929. Moscrit is a reserve police officer with the City of North Miami Beach. John Banta, 43, who lives at 8304 SW 72nd St., reported that someone broke into his home Wednesday, Sept. 15, and stole money and a calculator. Gilda Sanchez, 23, of 3690 SW 68th Ave., reported that someone broke into her home Tuesday, Sept. 14, between 9 a.m. and 9:45 p.m. and stole miscellaneous stereo equipment, a color TV and several pieces of jewelry, with a total value of $4,150. Ralph Chislett, 41, had his car broken into as he at at the Imperial Gardens restaurant at 8728 S. Dixie Hwy., Saturday night, Sept. 11. Police said that a ratio meter, a pair of sunglasses and a hand microphone were stolen. Edward Jenkins, 52, who lives at 1405 SW 127th Ct., complained to police that someone broke into his car Sunday or Monday, Sept. 12 or 13, and stole his 23-channel CB radio, valued at $239. Stuart Diagneau, 55, reported to police that someone stole a portable TV from his car when it was parked at his home at 8530 SW 48th St., Monday, Sept. 12.
