Torah group of Hadassah presents 'Milk and Honey'

Beatrice Weinstein will do a dramatic presentation of the Broadway hit play "Milk and Honey," Monday, Jan. 10 at 12:30 p.m., sponsored by the Torah Group of Hadassah. The meeting will be held in the downstairs meeting room of the Texaco Bldg., 2121 Ponce de Leon Blvd. Members are asked to bring roses for practice in presentation for the come and refreshments show. The public is wel- will be served.

Alumni meeting

Colgate University alumni and friends in the Miami area will meet at the Coral Gables Country Club at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 11. Colgate head football coach, Fred Dunlap, who led the Red Raiders to their best season, will speak.

Cancer film

A film from the American Cancer Society will highlight this month's meeting of the Jewish War Veterans Auxillary of West Miami to be held on Thursday, Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Shirley Wiezenthal, 5640 SW Sixth St. Refreshments will be served. Women's meeting

Eloise Cozens Henderson, president of Florida Pen women, will speak at the noon luncheon meeting of American Pen Women, Friday, Jan. 7 at the Miami Woman's Club. She will discuss the status of professional woman writers, artists, musicians, and photographers. Women interested in attending the luncheon may call 661-6440.

Rose Society

The January meeting of the Tropical Rose Society of Greater Miami will be at 8 [?p.m.?] on Tuesday, Jan. 11 in the Community Room of the Coral Gables First Methodist Church, Coral Way and Segovia Avenue. The program has been planned to help Society members bring their roses into top condition for their Annual Rose Show, which will be held at Burdine's Dadeland store, March 5. Sylvain Greene will discuss the use of soil testers, and Robert MacDonnell will present information on improving soil conditions.

SM agency names new managers

Vivian Lawless, 28, has been named office manager of South Miami Travel Service, owners Richard and Nikki Beare announced recently. She is charged with the supervision and management of the entire agency which provides personalized custom service.
