the times/guide visits . . . chris and chris tyson Memories kept them in home of 20 years The Tyson home is one of the four oldest houses in Coral Gables and the inside is Mediterranean in atmosphere even though the family isn't exactly certain where most of the furnishings come from. What the family is certain of, however, is that they just can't leave it. A portion of the library is pictured below and also pictured is the "prized seat" in the house, an elegant wooden commode salvaged from the basement of a Chicago hotel in 1943 by the original owner of the house.
