The full skirt swept into an aisle wide train and her chapel-length veil of illusion fell from an Egyptian crown of the lace. She carried white orchids tipped in silver. The bride's four attendants wore identical gowns of emerald green silk-faced acetate with sweeping overskirts and side drape. Egyptian crowns with pearl drop on forehead and golden mums bouquets completed their ensembles. They were Mrs. Patricia A. Payne, matron of honor; bridesmaids Barbara Reiter, and Kathleen Linehan all of Patchogue, and Rita Wedemeyer of Floral Park, L.I. Billy Warren of Miami was best man. Ushers were William Bowen, of Jackson Heights, N.Y., and Daniel Reiter and James Linehan, both of Patchogue. The Rev. Stuart Van Cott officiated at the 8 p.m. double ring candlelight ceremony and the reception followed at the Bellport Country Club, L.I. The bride's mother wore a mandarin green peau de soi gown with fitted bodice, bracelet-length sleeves, flared skirt. The mother of the groom wore a blue faille gown with match-ing jacket. Both matrons wore orchids. The bride was graduated from the University of Miami. The groom attended Petty Preparatory school and was graduated from Duke University; Duke University's School of Medicine and the Harvard Medical School. In addition to the groom's parents attending the wedding, the bride's two roommates at college, Miss Janet Walker and Miss Barbara Gallagher, also were there. The groom's father, named director of the UM Development Program under the late Dr. Bowman F. Ashe, the first president, is now a consultant to the program. MRS. ROBERT WELSH
