Dr. and Mrs. J. R. Kelley Will Live in Germany

MRS. JOHN KELLEY JR. Two Coral Gables High School graduates were married Saturday and will reside in Germany for at least a year. They are Dr. and Mrs. John Roy Kelley Jr. The bride, the former Miss Susan Ann Knight, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Parrish Knight of 1121 Aduana Ave. The groom is the son of Mrs. Council Kelley of 6700 Le Jeune Rd., Coral Gables and Col. John R. Kelley of Madrid, Spain. The wedding took place at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Plymouth Congregational Church with the Rev. David J. Davis officiating, and the reception took place in the Church garden. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of heavy dull finished satin designed with fitted bodice, beteau neckline, elbow length sleeves. Alencon lace appliques reembroidered in seed pearls formed the motif for the bodice trim. The bellshaped skirt with released fullness in back formed a slight train. Her short veil fell from a crown of lily of the valley and she carried white roses. Mary Margaret Morrow was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Sally Snare and Carol Harding. They wore identical costumes of apricot silk taffeta, the bell-shaped skirt caught at the side with a bow. A large bow with veil in matching color were headpieces and they carried cascades of yellow, bronze and blue Fujii mums. Council Kelley was best man for his brother. Ushers were Dr. Glen Tatum of Ft. Dix, N.J.; Dr. Thomas Hand, Orlando; and Dr. Victor Mackoul of Jacksonville. After a wedding trip to Vienna, the couple will reside in Wiesbaden, Germany, where the captain is with the medical-dental division of the Air Force. He will be stationed there for at least the next year and a half. The bride is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and Florida State University where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She is a member of the Spinsters Club and had been teaching for the past year and a half at Palmetto Junior High School. The groom graduated from Coral Gables High School and attended the University of Florida where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He is a former president of the Iron Eagles. He received his degree in dentistry in 1960 from Emory University, where he was a member of Psi Omega, dental honorary.
