Sandra Morgan Wins Bunny Contest Prize
Mrs. Sandra Morgan, a housewife with two small children and a hobby of painting, won The Guide's Bunny Basket contest. "Yes, I was surprised and pleased," said Mrs. Morgan, 9620 SW 48th St., upon learning of being chosen. Mrs. Morgan received $50 for her first place entry. She said she probably will spend the money on art supplies. Second through fifth place winners were Mrs. Jean Lowe, 6384 SW 39th St., second prize ($25); Walter S. Jenkins, 12000 NE 11th Ct., third prize ($7.50), Mrs. C. E. Lee, 1133 South Alhambra Circle, fourth prize ($5), and Edgar H. Dowson, 3629 Harlano St., fifth prize ($2.50). Other winners will be announced by mail. MRS. MORGAN
Temple Plans Fashion Show
April 13th at 8:30 p.m. a fashion show will be presented by the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Kodesh. This event will take place poolside at the now South Miami Heights Cabana Club. Chuck Zink, a TV personality, will be master of ceremonies. Palmetto High School swimming team will give an aqua show featuring a water ballet. Someone will win a weekend for two at a nearby resort hotel. Refreshments will be served
Coffee Swap To Be Held April 12
The YWCA invites you to a coffee swap on April 12 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Olympia Heights Methodist Church, 97th Avenue off Bird Road. The program will emphasize Family Safety and two films will be shown: "Teaching Johnny to Swim," and "Artificial Respiration." There also will be a demonstration on respiration and first aid for the beginner. Call Mrs. Sakal at the Miami YWCA, FR 7-2571 for information.
