Charles Kelly Marries South Jacksonville Girl
Mr. and Mrs. Charles William Kelly, who were married Saturday in South Jacksonville, are touring Florida on their honeymoon before setting up house in Tallahassee. The bride, the former Miss Barbara Ann Hunt, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Obert Hunt of South Jacksonville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Kelly, of 9341 SW 177th St., Miami. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a chalk white, floor-length bridal gown of tissue peau de soie made on classic lines. Her three-tiered veil of illusion fell from a cap of peau de soie flowers, and she carried a cascade bouquet of sweetheart roses and stephanotis. The four attendants of the bride wore fern-green, organza taffeta gowns, and carried cascade bouquets of apricot chrysanthemums centered with talisman roses and polished ivy leaves. They were Mrs. William Parks White Jr., matron of honor; Miss Mary Judith Evans of Lake Wales, Miss Cynthia Green of Pensacola, and junior bridesmaid, Miss Judith Lynn Hunt, sister of the bride. James Crowder of Miami was best man. Ushers were Curtis D. Genders, of Sarasota; William Parks White Jr., and Victor Halbach, both of Jacksonville; William Sutton of Coral Gables; and Milton Pressley of Tampa, formerly of Coral Gables. Dr. Stephen T. Harvin officiated at the 4:30 p.m. double ring ceremony held in the South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church. The reception followed in the garden center of Jacksonville. The mother of the bride wore a beige silk linen with matching accessories and brown orchids. Mother of the groom was in putty beige silk with bone color accessories and green orchids. The bride is a graduate of the Alfred I. Du Pont High School of Jacksonville and Florida State University where she joined Alpha Delta Pi sorority. The groom was graduated from Coral Gables High School and Florida State University where he joined Phi Delta Theta fraternity. MRS. CHARLES W. KELLY
