ARTIST'S CONCEPT OF THE NEW HOME OF MONARCH MOTORS
Monarch Moving To Bird Road
Monarch Motors Inc., Miami authorized Volkswagen dealer, plans to move to its new dealership at 3650 Bird Road in ptember. Formal opening will be around the first of the year. Present location is 1864 SW 8th St. John Rinehart, president and co-owner of the firm, said new facilities will make Monarch one of the largest of Volkswagen dealers. The new facilities include 20,000 square feet of buildings out of the 77,000 square feet overall area. J. E. Shaw Contractors are completing remodeling work of the Shelley property now. The location is just west of U.S. No. 1. Monarch will triple the space it has in its present location. Jack Rinehart, general manager and co-owner, said Monarch will add nine or 10 employes to its staff of 35. Before buying Monarch in February of 1960, the Rineharts were Ford dealers in Tiffin, Ohio.
MISS CORLEY AT HOME
Frances Ann Corley, 16, daughter of South Miami Councilman and Mrs. Ed Corley, 5864 SW 77th Terr., was in in South Miami Hospital last week recovering from an operation July 31 to remove a bone growth from a leg. She is recuperating now at home.
