Our Kids Take Track Honors

Our young athletes from the Southwest and the Gables made a big mark in the Florida AAU Agegroup Track and Field meet at the University of Miami Saturday. Boys and girls from this area took many of the first, second and third places in the meet which drew participants from as far as West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Dania. Vince Lally, national track champ of the 1920s, directed the Florida Athletic Club entries which he hopes to enter in a championship meet if local school authorities permit.
