The girls were presented with the wheel club insignia mounted on gold discs and Valentine Candy Feb. 14 during home room period. The last in a series of discussion groups entitled "Americanism vs Communism," sponsored by the Palmetto High School PTA, will be Tuesday (Feb. 27) at 8 p.m. in the school auditorium, 7460 SW 118th St. The theme of the meeting will be "Freedom Is Everybody's Business."

These girls are presently learning drill work fundamentals under the direction of Bill Allen, director of the Palmetto majorettes. Official try-outs will be held in May.
