Spring Wedding Plans Announced
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Eugene Wallace, 6800 San Vincente Ave., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Carol Ring Wallace, to Philip Livingston Brawner, 6511 Santana St., son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Peirce Brawner of Ocean Ridge, Fla. A spring wedding is planned with the date May 20 chosen by the couple. Chi Omega The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she was a member of Chi Omega social sorority. She is a member of the Spinsters Club, a provisional of the Junior League of Miami and made her debut at the Surf Club in 1955. Carol is a member of the Riviera Country Club and of the Bath Club, Miami Beach. She formerly held memberships in the Twenty Little Working Girls and the Junior Assembly. Her fiance is a graduate of Princeton University, Class of 1953. He attended the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and was graduated from the Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Bachelors Club of Miami and a junior member of The Surf Club. He is presently a practicing attorney with the Don G. Nicholson firm of Miami. MISS WALLACE
Gables Home To Open For DAR Benefit
Mrs. Edward Christiansen, 6312 Riviera Dr., will open her home for the benefit bridge the Coral Gables Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will give Tuesday at noon. This will be the only chapter benefit this year. Mrs. Charles P. Nieder, 32 Calabria Ave., is general chairman. She is being assisted by Mrs. Charles Parsons and Mrs. Lowell Selby, who is chairman of tickets. Mrs. Selby reports that with 150 tickets sold for 150 guests, they hope to reach the 200 mark before Tuesday. Other chairmen are Mrs. Harry W. Link Jr., Mrs. Wyatt Alexander and Mrs. William E. Cashbaugh, chairman of refreshments. Mrs. Thomas S. Gowin, chapter regent, and Mrs. Christianson, the hostess, will welcome members and their guests. MRS. CHRISTIANSEN
Sylvia Redlick Is Engaged
Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Redlich, 3201 SW 4th St., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sylvia, to Richard B. Clein, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Berry Clein, 330 NW 44th Ave. No date has been set for the wedding. The bride-elect is a sophomore at the University of Miami, majoring in Elementary Education. Her fiance, also a student at the University of Miami, is a senior in the School of Business Administration.

Flying Carpet Sets Note For Fashion Show
Fashion's Flying Carpet is the theme of the annual mid-winter fashion show luncheon, and the Country Club of Coral Gables will be the setting for the noon affair today. Mrs. F. Judson Hill and Mrs. Herman W. Cook will coordinate and commentate the show. Committee members assisting are Mrs. Harry Graham, Mrs. Sidney Kass, Mrs. Bob Brunson Jr., and Mrs. John Lipscomb.
