When Coral Gableites play host on a fishing trip, their guests may expect big results if the recent expedition arranged by MR. and MRS. WILL H. ROGERS, 131 Avenue Calabria, is any criterion. This 1261⁄2 pound white marlin was hooked by D. P. EISELSTEIN of Orlando, while fishing with the Rogers' aboard Capt. Harold Anderson's "Osprey". Mr. and Mrs. Rogers are shown at the left of the photograph while the proud Eiselsteins are at the right. The young man seated is Daniel Hoagland, a nephew of the Rogers'. -Hinsdale

NO MATTER WHAT "FAMILY TREE" YOUR "JOSEPHINE" SPRINGS FROM .... YOU CAN'T BEAT THE SERVICE YOU'LL GET FOR HER AT PARKS MOTORS!!
There's an old, old adage that goes: "Experience is the best teacher." And after twenty some years in the automotive repair and service business, we feel that we're really "experienced" — and that we're qualified to speak with authority on practically any phase of this business! And that goes for everything from CADILLACS TO JEEPS! A lot of you car owners sort of get "name-itis" when you buy a car! You feel that because you've suddenly become the owner of a "Cadillac," a "Buick" or an "Oldsmobile" — that you can't get proper servicing and repairs anywhere but at a garage or agency that deals solely with that make car. BUT THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE WRONG, MISTER! WE SAY — AND WE MEAN IT! — that you can't take your "Josephine" ANYWHERE, no matter what her "name" — and get better or more satisfactory work than you'll find at PARKS MOTORS. Our staff of EXPERT SKILLED MECHANICS know the "ins and outs" of every "name" in the automotive field — and they are FULLY QUALIFIED, through years of experience, to give you FACTORY SATISFACTION, no matter what the job — and no matter what the name! "The Club will work under the aims and objectives outlined by Rotary International, which embodies work in club service, vocational service, community service, and international service." Allen succeeds Dr. Otto J. Sieplein who will retire as president on July 1st. Directors of the new board include Dr. Sieplein, Allen, Edward Keating, George B. Caster, Leland C. Shepard, Edward O. Shepard, Edward O. Henderson, James J. Helm, and Herbert W. MacDonald. The other club officers will be named by the new Board of Directors at its initial meeting, and soon thereafter committees will be appointed. A Rotary member for 13 years, Mr. Allen now operates the Coral Gables Furniture Company. He graduated from Georgia Military Academy and Georgia Tech, where he majored in business administration. While in college, he was active in Pi Kappa Phi, social fraternity; Alpha Kappa Psi, commercial fraternity; and was also a member of the inter-fraternity council. The future of Coral Gables is unlimited, and "business development should keep pace with, but not exceed, the residential growth, according to the new Rotary president. Allen is planning to attend the International Convention in San Francisco to be held in June, and the District Convention in Daytona Beach to be held in April. Rotary International will hold its 1948 convention in Dio De Janeiro. At present Allen is president of the Allen Granite Company, Elberton, Georgia; he is a past director of the American Granite Association; a former vice-president of the Georgia State Junior Chamber of Commerce; and is a past District Governor of the Georgia District of Rotary International.
