BAPTISTS TO BEGIN REVIVAL SERVICES SUNDAY
The University Baptist Church announces a revival beginning at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26 and continuing every weekday night thereafter through the 30th of Oct. There will be a fellowship hour following the services. Mr. Denny will show color movies of his recent European trip to Europe attending the Baptist World Alliance. There will also be movies of other interests shown. Various meetings are being scheduled for the campus of the University of Miami and will be announced. FRANK BOGGS that brings about the enlarged and satisfied life. Declining to use what is in hand, in the service of Christ, brings about a shrinking of talents and the shriveling of life itself. Further the refusal to use in service what we have in our hands, often brings us into the situation where that which we refused to use, becomes an instrument of infection, disaster and death. The Gables Presbyterian Church in common with the other Presbyterian churches of the Miami area is observing next Sunday as "Church Membership Sunday." It is anticipated that a splendid group will be received next Sunday morning at the 11 o'clock church service.

Among the citations which comprise the Lesson-Sermon is the following from the Bible: "With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgements are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness" (Isaiah 26:9). The Lesson-Sermon also includes the following passage from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: "We know that all will be changed 'in the twinkling of an eye,' when the 'last trump' shall sound; but this last call of wisdom cannot come till mortals have already yielded to each lesser call in the growth of Christian character... Universal salvation rests on progression and probation, and is unattainable without them" (291:5-9, 12-13).
