MRS. McCARTHY
What do natives of India eat? It is a question that has Mrs. Wesley L. Peckham of 1160 South Alhambra Cir., stumped. Mrs. Peckham and her husband will entertain Birjmohan Gupta of New Delhi, India at dinner Saturday. He is a manufacturer's representative and will be in town three days. "I know he doesn't eat beef," Mrs. Peckham said. And when she told us that she and Wes were entertained by the Guptas in India when they were there, we said, "Did they serve you beef?" "No, as a matter of fact, they served Indian dishes and the food was delicious." Well there is your answer. Just serve 'em anything you want but don't serve beef.
