Monthly News SUNSET DRUGS

Monthly News APRIL, 1961 A Message From Your Pharmacist HOW TO BECOME A PHARMACIST. The practice of pharmacy requires much professional training. To obtain a license, a pharmacist now is required to attend five years at a college of pharmacy, serve an apprenticeship and pass a state examination to prove know-ledge. OPERATING A PHARMACY IS NOT EASY. Careful buying is needed. With more than 4,000 different medicines in our prescription department and thousands of other health-aids and sickroom needs, our problem is to have what you ask for. We must not stock too much of a product, or potency and freshness will be gone when you buy it. And, we must keep informed about new products and immediately get them so we can fill any physician's prescriptions. OUR PRICES MUST BE COMPETITIVE. We must earn a profit to stay in business, but it must not be greater than that of any other reliable pharmacy. Our prices are always fair. A GOOD PHARMACY OFFERS SERVICE. We must earn the preference you show us by making us your pharmacy. Therefore, we try our best to be courteous, dependable and help-ful. We gladly deliver, offer charge service and informed answers to your questions. AND. — WE LIKE PHARMACY. Despite its long working hours, there is nothing we would rather be than a pharmacist. Each night we know that the products and service we provide has helped others to live a healthier, happier life. SUNSET DRUGS COR.
