Ilene Teitler To the Torah

Rabbi Alfred Waxman of Temple Zion, 5720 S.W. 17th St., will officiate Friday at the Bas Mitzvah of Ilene Teitler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Teitler. The service will be held at 8:30 p.m. and the rabbi will use as his text, "Youth and Maturity." Ilene is a seventh grade student at South Miami Junior High School. She is a member of the school orchestra and will continue her studies in the Temple confirmation class. Her parents will be hosts at the Oneg Shabbat following to which the congregation and friends are invited. Arriving from New York is Mrs. Julian Busch, aunt of Ilene's.

TB X-Ray Unit Will Bring Free Service to You Soon

Dade County Tuberculosis Association's mobile X-ray unit, which moves from location to location throughout the county for free chest X-rays, will be at three area locations during the next week. Today (Wednesday) the unit will be at a Kwik Chek supermarket, SW 87th Ave. and Bird Road. This appearance is sponsored by Miller Heights Citizens Assn. On Thursday and Friday, the unit will be at Westchester Shopping Plaza, Coral Way at 87th Ave. This appearance is sponsored by Civic Fair. On Monday and Tuesday, April 17 and 18, the unit will be at the Red Road entrance to Holsum Bakery, 5761 Sunset Dr. Hours for the Kwik Chek and Westchester Shopping Plaza locations are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 5 p.m. Hours for the Holsum Bakery location are from 8 to 10 a.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. on April 17 and from 9 to 12 and 2 to 5 p.m. April 18.
