County Line

Continued from Page 4 in this drawer somewhere. I trip over my shoes, the ones I don't want to wear this morning. WHY, OH WHY did I promise I would go fishing this morning? There, I have two socks now. I hope they match. These shoes are on before I realize I don't want to wear these at all. Get the others, you nut. Gotta hurry, Bill's going to be here soon. Why didn't I get these clothes out last night? Then I wouldn't have to do all this looking in the dark. WHY DOES anybody want to get up at 4 in the morning? These shoes are making too much noise. I should have put them on in the kitchen. I knew these were the wrong pants. I guess I have to wear my best belt. I can't find the other one. Thank goodness I found the right shirt. It was right on top. Was it today or tomorrow that Bill wanted to go fishing? It's going to rain today, I just know it is. If it does, I can come home and get some more sleep. WHAT'S THAT car doing outside with its lights on? Bill can't be here already. I open the door to greet Bill, but it's the milkman. He says good morning and I say hi. How can anybody be that happy at this time in the morning? I knew these socks wouldn't match. What's the difference? They're socks aren't they? Too late now, we'll have to get breakfast on the road. Maybe I could have a cup of coffee before Bill gets here. IS BILL REALLY coming? Maybe his alarm didn't go off. Why does it take so long for this water to boil? I hope he doesn't notice my unmatched socks. I'll get the fishing gear out now while I'm waiting for the water to boil. There, the rods and the fishing box are on the front porch and the light is on. Gotta make that coffee quick. What else do I need? My wallet It's in the other pants. Oh, oh, no time for the coffee, there's Bill. All lights out? Yep. Hi Bill, are you as sleepy as I am?

Bug Killer Has Effects On You, Too

Got chinch bugs or other pests? One of the most deadly chemicals to counteract them is also very effective against humans, Michael Liskiewicz, personnel officer for the City of Coral Gables, warns. It's parathion, a poisonous grey powder which smells like rotten eggs. The poison works three ways, Liskiewicz said: If taken internally through the mouth, through the skin by contact or in breathing it. Symptoms of poisoning are headache, giddiness, blurred vision, weakness, nausea, cramps, diarrhea, discomfort in the chest and nervousness. If you've got them, you'd better get treatment immediately. Liskiewicz said that the use of parathion by city employes is prohibited.
