Debutantes Are Guests At Kings Bay
Twelve young women from the Southwest area who will make their bows as debutantes at the King Bay Yacht Club on Dec. 28 were honored Sunday at a tea together with their respective mothers. The are Miss Margaret Fairchilds, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bertram S. Fairchilds, 7255 S.W. 105th Ter., a graduate of Palmetto High School and attending Barry College. She was a vice president of the first Senior Teen board at Kings Bay and president of the 1960 board. Miss Charlotte Everett, senior at Coral Gables High School, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ullius B. Everett, 1640 S.W. 64th Ct. Miss Dale Schermerhorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William O. Schermerhorn, 6090 S.W. 108th St. Dale graduated from Southwest High School. Also Miss Janis Wackenhut, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George R. Wackenhut, of 7795 S.W. 122nd St. Janis is a senior at Palmetto High School. Miss Meri Lee Bitz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Bitz, 11220 S.W. 74th Ave., and a freshman student at the UM. Miss Susan Elaine Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Foster Williams, 5801 S.W. 128th St., is a senior at Palmetto High School. Miss Kathleen May Turk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Turk, 12300 S.W. 63rd Ave. is a senior student at Palmetto High School. Miss Karen Freberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton S. Freberg, 8150 S.W. 53rd Ave., is a senior at Coral Gables High School. Miss Pamela Kelly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Kelly, 8275 S.W. 53rd Ave., is also a senior at Coral Gables High School. Miss Constance Lynn Meyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Meyer, 12400 S.W. 62nd Ave., is a senior at Immaculata Academy. Miss Ann Eileen Willis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Willis, 11425 S.W. 68th Ct., is a senior at Palmetto High School. Miss Carol LeFevre, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Norman Frederick LeFevre, 6820 S.W. 126th Ter., is a graduate of Immaculata Academy and a freshman at Loyola University.

Presbyterians To Show Movie
"The Life of Emile Zola," starring Paul Muni will be shown Dec. 2 and 3 at 7 p.m. at Palmetto Presbyterian Church, 6790 SW 56th St. The public is invited to see one of the epics of the film industry. A nursery is provided and admission to the movie is by donation.
