Airman third class Francis C. Trevett, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Trevett, 11435 SW 80th Road, was graduated recently from the communications and relay center equipment repairman course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. Airman Trevett was graduated from Coral Gables High School in 1957 and attended the University of Miami. While in school he lettered three years in football and one year in choir. He came to Sheppard AFB from Lackland AFB, Texas, where he began his basic military training. * * * Lt. Thomas G. Southard recently arrived at Craig Air Force Base, Selma, Ala. for 22 weeks of flying training in the Basic Single Engine School. Upon graduation, Lt. Southard will receive his silver wings as a rated jet pilot in the United States Air Force. Prior to his assignment to Craig, he was graduated from Spence, Ga., Air Base, USAF Civilian Contract Primary Flying School. Lieutenant Southard is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott W. Southard, 5901 SW 19th St., and received his B.S. degree from the University of Miami in 1959. * * * Army Colonel Robert L. Crownover, whose wife, Gleta, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Crownover, live at 1209 Venetia Ave., recently arrived in Korea and is now a member of the U. S. Army Advisory Group (KMAG). KMAG is a group of highly skilled officers and enlisted men to aid and advise the Republic of Korea Army in all phases of military operations. Colonel Crownover, assigned to the Logistics Section of the group's Headquarters, entered the Army in 1941. The colonel is a 1928 graduate of Falquemine (La.) High School and a 1933 graduate of the University of Florida.
Army Non-Com School
Army Pfc. David S. Lindsay, 23, Coral Gables, has been graduated from the 101 Airborne Division Non-Commissioned Officer Academy at Fort Campbell, Ky. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Smythe H. Lindsay, 5671 Michel Angelo. After four weeks of training in combat intelligence, terrain analysis, map reading and leadership, Lindsay has been regularly assigned to the division's 101st Military Intelligence Detachment. He entered the Army in 1959 after being graduated from Northwestern University where he was a member of Acacia fraternity.
