RULES TO RUN FICTITIOUS NAMES

People use fictitious business names in order to come up with a unique or different approach for their particular business. It's simple to do. First, pick a name. It's best to pick something that will reflect your business or your product. Choose carefully. It's a name you'll probably have for some time. When you've made your choice, go to the Dade County Court House to be sure that someone else isn't already using your intended name. IF THE NAME IS AVAILABLE, PRINT ALL INFORMATION IN COUPON BELOW, CLIP AND MAIL WITH YOUR CHECK TO: THE TIMES/GUIDE c/o CLASSIFIED DEPT. P.O. BOX 580 CORAL GABLES, FLA. 33134 Your ad must run for four consecutive weeks and must be a minimum of four lines. The total charge for a four-liner, for the four weeks, is only $10.00. This charge includes a notarized proof of publication from us. Most fictitious name listings can be handled in four lines (HOWEVER, IF AN ADDITIONAL LINE OR TWO IS NEEDED, THE TIMES/GUIDE CLASSIFIED DEPARTMENT CAN GIVE YOU THE ADDITIONAL RATE INFORMATION). All fictitious name listings must be paid in advance. You then take the proof of publication that we supply to the Dade County Court House ... and, you're ready to do business under your new name.
