RAISIN PROVES HANDY FRUIT FOR PEPPING UP DESSERTS

Use raisins to sweeten up a fresh fruit compote ... ginberbread gets glamour when you add raisins to the batter ... your pet blanc mange will, be more beautiful, more piquant if you cook raisins in the puddings ... raisins give cobblers and bettys chewability and flavor. Try these also: Baked Raisin Prune Whip Combine- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped puffed seeded or seeded muscat raisins 1 cup coarsely chopped cooked prunes 1/4 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
