Called To Full Time Pastorate
Riviera Presbyterian Church will go into full time service next Sunday with the pastor, the Rev. Bruce Cumming as pastor. A new home for the pastor is now building and is located just a block from the church. Mr. Cumming will broadcast an evening service at 6:45 p.m. Sunday over the airways of WBAY.
AAUW BOARD MEETING, LUNCHEON NEXT SATURDAY
Mrs. William E. Tschumy, president of the American Association of University Women (Miami Branch) has called a board meeting to be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at her home, 3232 Emathta Street, Coconut Grove. This will be followed by a luncheon at the Country Club of Coral Gables. At the May breakfast of the association held Saturday at the Country Club, Mrs. Tschumy announced the executive board as follows: 1st vice president, Mrs. Comer Hall; second vice president, Mrs. Jack O. Knowles; recording secretary, Mrs. Julius Alexander; corresponding secretary; Mrs. Raleigh Petteway; treasurer, Mrs. Benjamin F. Brady. Chairmen of committees include: Mrs. Russell Williams, program; Mrs. Nicholas Hodsdon, membership; Mrs. J. F. Bauder, reception; Mrs. Evart Perkins, publicity; Miss June Inman, yearbook; Mrs. Benjamin F. VFW Announces Memorial Rites
Memorial Day services will be observed by members of the Ray Renuart Post VFW and its auxiliary at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Sylvan Heights Baptist Church, S. W. 16th Street and 59th Avenue. The Rev. P. T. Taylor will conduct the services assisted by Chaplain Otto Hampton. Col. Wallace E. Hackett, commander of the post, has requested that the entire membership turn out for the ceremony.
Mrs. Matthews To Entertain Group
The June-December chapter of the Woman's Auxiliary of St. Philip's Church will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the home of the chairman Mrs. J. R. Matthews, 1235 Avenue Catalonia.
Mrs. Watson Is Chapter Hostess
Mrs. Marjorie Watson, chairman of the October-April chapter, Woman's Auxiliary of St. Philip's Church will entertain the group at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home, 2413 N. Greenway Drive.
Mrs. Newman Is Church Group Hostess
Mrs. J. E. Newman, chairman of the Sept.-March chapter Woman's Auxiliary, St. Philip's church will entertain the members at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at her home, 718 Avenue Valencia.
Miss Wood Arrives
Miss Sue Wood of Abbeville, Alabama will arrive June 3rd for a visit to Miss Katherine Skogstad, 2716 DeSota Plaza. Informal entertainment for the visitor will include attendance at Poinciana Festival events and a tea given by Mrs. Walter H. Clarke.
On Lake Minnetonka
Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Mayhew have sold their home at 1212 South Greenway Drive to Dr. and Mrs. E. C. Lunsford, and will spend the summer as is their custom, at their lake home, Excelsior, Minn.

Entertain Art League
Mrs. Leon E. Bollin entertained the members of the Art League at a tea Sunday at her home, 1133 Marianna. About 45 members called during the afternoon. Mrs. Julian Corrington, Mrs. Helen Keeler Spact, Mrs. Edna Sortelle McCoy and Mrs. Gordon L. Walter were co-hostesses.

To Lynn
Mr. and Mrs. Albienne A. Belliveau and their daughter, Miss Marie Belliveau, 1106 Genoa street, are leaving tomorrow to spend the summer at their Lynn, Massachusetts home. Among newcomers to the Gables, Mr. Belliveau has made additions to his garden beautifying the place extensively. The trio will return in the fall.
Mrs. George Corrigan Heads Coral Gables Garden Club, Installation Follows Picnic
Mrs. George M. Corrigan was installed president of the Coral Gables Garden Club for a second year, in ceremonies following the May picnic and annual meeting held Monday at Cutwig Pines, country home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wigman. Other officers installed include Mrs. O. A. Sandquist, 1st vice president; Mrs. Walter Wipprecht Jr., 2nd vice president; Mrs. Charles F. Miller, recording secretary; Mrs. James Ammen, corresponding secretary; Mrs. Horace F. Cordes, treasurer and Mrs. Merman Feick, auditor. Mrs. Evan D. Roser, a past garden club president, was the installing officer. As each officer was installed Mrs. Roser gave her a Cape Jasmine gardenia, the gift of Mrs. William Cox. The meeting followed an especially delicious fried chicken lunch served in the Rumpus House on the Wigman estate. Mrs. I. W. England was chairman of the luncheon. The 70 member-guests were seated at small tables, bright with red checked table cloths, and decorated with red hibiscus. Every member wore flowers in her hair, there were no hats. A custom of the Garden Club's annual meeting, the alfresco party had its beginning some 12 years ago when the group began meeting at Matheson's Hammock to study trees. During the war it was too far to drive to the Hammock. Monday's picnic — and annual meeting was the fourth held at Mr. and Mrs. Wigman's home.
