Junior Woman's Club Elects Mrs. Tilton

MRS. TILTON Mrs. E. J. Tilton Jr., 1425 Milan Ave., is the elected president of the Coral Gables Junior Woman's Club for the year 1961-62. Also elected to office were Mrs. Joseph C. Pereno Jr., first vice president; Mrs. James Cole, second vice president. Mrs. Robert King High, recording secretary; Mrs. Frank Young corresponding secretary; Mrs. D. W. Matson Jr., general treasurer, and Mrs. Jacques L. Clarke, welfare treasurer. The new officers will be installed in May breakfast ceremonies May 10, at the Riviera Country Club. The club reports the sum of $4,545.00 proceeds from its annual cabaret — the 23rd annual held at Bayfront Park will go to the maintenance of the Dental Clinic Foundation.

Women Will Hear Minister

The Women's Association of the First Presbyterian Church of Coral Gables will learn about Missions when they meet Friday, April 28. Dr. David R. Hutchinson, minister of the Kirk of the Keys, Marathon and member of the Board of National Missions will be the guest speaker. Mrs. George De Witt is in charge of the 10:30 a.m. service in the chapel. Luncheon will be served at 12:30 p.m. in fellowship hall.

Mrs. Jenkins Is President Of Club

New officers of the Coral Gables Music Club are: Mrs. Raymond M. Jenkins, president; Mrs. John W. Hunt, 1st and Mrs. Robert Henderson, 2nd vice presidents; Mrs. C. R. Goodloe, recording and Mrs. E. L. Griffith, corresponding secretaries; Mrs. L. F. Craig Jr., treasurer and Mrs. William A. Brown, financial secretary. Mrs. George M. Corrigan, immediate past president becomes the first director; Mrs. Jack Carlton, second director. The new officers will be installed at the club's May breakfast May 16, at the Riviera Country Club.

Miss Reynolds To Wed Mr. Garrard In Summer

MISS REYNOLDS Mr. and Mrs. Will Burgess Reynolds of 5110 SW 80th St., South Miami, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rochelle, to Holt Van Leonard Garrard. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ford Garrard of 601 Alhambra Cir. and New Orleans, La. A late-summer wedding is planned by the couple. The bride-elect is a graduate of Coral Gables High Schol and was graduated last June from Florida State University, where she was a member of Chi Omega, social sorority. She is a member of the Spinsters Club and of the Coral Gables Country Club. Born in Miami, Rochelle's family on her paternal side are Florida pioneers, moving to Dade County from Detroit, in 1910. Her fiance is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega, social fraternity. He is a member of the Bachelors Club and of the Coral Gables Country Club.

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Rice, 2300 Tigertail Ct., observed their tenth wedding anniversary with a week in Nassau. They sailed on the Bahama Star, and were guests at the Pearl Harbor Club. Mrs. Rice is a member of the Coral Gables Country Club's Woman's Golf Association.
